In February 2022 the project “Implementation of the results of the Coast Guard qualifications Network and the Practical Handbook on European cooperation on coast guard Functions” started with the goals to support:
- the development of an academies and training network,
- the implementation of an exchange programme and
- the implementation of sectoral qualifications framework for the coast guard functions.
The aim of the exchange programmes is to share, among other things, host organizations own experiences and working methods, as well as to introduce their equipment, resources, capabilities and infrastructure.
The first period of the Capacity Building and Training Exchange Programme (CBTExPr) implementation started in February 2024 and lasted until January 2025. During the first period in total 31 exchange Host offers were made to cover 128 exchange participants. More details here.
The second period of the exchange programme is taking place from September 2025 to September 2026.
